Over the years, she played a pivotal role in leading many new riders to National titles. Now enjoying her retirement from the big show scene, Honey dedicates her time to giving 'Up Down' lessons to our youngest participants, nurturing their confidence and patience. She holds a special place in the hearts of everyone at Apex, embodying the spirit and warmth of our community.

Known for his kind nature and vibrant personality, Turbo is a farm favorite who excels at teaching riders to canter. His charm and gentle spirit make him a favorite among both students and staff. Turbo's connection with his past remains strong, as his previous owners often stop by to visit whenever they're in town, celebrating the special bond they still share.

As the instructor’s go-to lunge lesson horse, Tess plays a vital role in helping riders develop their skills and confidence. His proficiency in horsemanship lessons has made him a staple in the training program, where his calm nature and patience benefit students of all levels. Outside of lessons, Tess enjoys a close friendship with his pasture mate Biggie, sharing peaceful moments in the field. Owned by one of our dedicated barnhands, Tess brings warmth and wisdom to the Apex family, making him a cherished companion and teacher.
