You could be invited to join a unique program which is full of horse lovers like yourself. For the past several years, we have been working on a way for our horse-loving kids, to spend more time at the stable, improve their horse care and handling skills, and receive some compensation for their efforts. We have designed a training and certification program that will fulfill this demand with the new ARA Equine Achievement Program.
Our trained Apex Assistant’s (AA) will have the opportunity to assist with the annual Apex Riding Academy Spring and Summer Horsemanship Camps, Silver Stirrup Tournaments and daily assistance with the lesson program. By assisting with the daily camp management, the AA has an opportunity to practice their horsemanship skills, assist with the daily running of the ARA stable, assist with the Horsemanship Camp participants, as well as earning “tokens” for their daily efforts. Tokens can be used towards riding lessons, tournaments or others activities.
This program was developed to encourage kids to grow as horsewomen and horsemen by sharing, learning, and working at the stable. In turn, the dedication, work ethic, and life skills earned will increase each participant’s life skills and citizenship as they grow and interact both in school and the world.
The Equine Achievement Program is set up within a system of respect, dedication, and hard work. This program is based on an honor system. It’s a privilege to be invited to work with the Equine Achievement Program, not a right. Your child is working, sharing, and learning with a small group of dedicated horse enthusiasts. The participating AA’s are expected to give 100+% effort.
