APEX RIDING ACADEMY
APEX RIDING ACADEMY
You could be invited to join a unique program that is full of horse lovers like yourself. For the past several years, we have been working on a way for our horse-loving kids, to spend more time at the stable, improve their horse care and handling skills, and receive some compensation for their efforts. We have designed a training and certification program that will fulfill this demand with the new ARA Equine Achievement Program.
Our trained Apex Assistant’s (AA) will have the opportunity to assist with the annual Apex Riding Academy Spring and Summer Horsemanship Camps, Silver Stirrup Tournaments and daily assistance with the lesson program. By assisting with the daily camp management, the AA has an opportunity to practice their horsemanship skills, assist with the daily running of the ARA stable, assist with the Horsemanship Camp participants, as well as earning “Points” for their daily efforts. Points can be used towards riding lessons, tournaments or others activities.
This program was developed to encourage kids to grow as horsewomen and horsemen by sharing, learning, and working at the stable. In turn, the dedication, work ethic, and life skills earned will increase each participant’s life skills and citizenship as they grow and interact both in school and the world.
The Equine Achievement Program is set up within a system of respect, dedication, and hard work. This program is based on an honor system. It’s a privilege to be invited to work with the Equine Achievement Program, not a right. Your child is working, sharing, and learning with a small group of dedicated horse enthusiasts. The participating AA’s are expected to give 100+% effort.

What is this program?
The Apex Therapy Team program is unlike any other program at the barn. This program is focused on all things horse care. Our horses are athletes, and just like athletes, our horses receive the best of care we can provide for them. This includes vet work, custom horse shoes artfully crafted by our farrier, customized supplements, magnawave treatments, Bemer treatments, joint injections, theraplate sessions, ice boot care, chiropractor visits, and more! In this program, your student will learn about the specialized care we give our horses and will even be able to participate in giving some of those treatments.
Who is this program for?
This program is designed for students 10 and older. There is a school-like aspect to this team. Students need to pay close attention, take notes, and even write a paper about what they learned at the end of the program. Each student must also be an active rider in Apex Riding Academy.portunity to assist with the annual Apex Riding Academy Spring and Summer Horsemanship Camps, Silver Stirrup Tournaments and daily assistance with the lesson program.
